Polar Air Cargo Worldwide has announced newly added scheduled freighter flights to Japan from the US.
The direct Boeing 747-4 freighter service will operate five times weekly between Cincinnati in the US  and Chūbu Kūkō airport (NGO), just outside Nagoya, with connections into the carrier’s PO APAC network.
Polar Air Cargo is 51% owned by Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings and 49% by DHL Express.
In a circular to customers, Polar stated: “We are increasing our all cargo freighter network into the Japan market to better serve you and your customers. The first flight will take place on March 28th.  Your full support in making this new scheduled freighter operation a success is requested and always appreciated.”
